![]() Dylan Goldby If you have flipped through Groove magazine, you have seen his work. If you have thumbed through Southeast Asian Backpacker, you have gawked at his images and read his travel accounts. If you are a Seoul photographer, you know his name. Nikkon would do well to have Australian born Dylan Goldby as their poster boy. Simply stated, Dylan is one of the most versatile and able photographers I have ever met. It is Dylan's ability to own every aspect of the photographic process that makes his genius. From setting a scene to post-processing images, Goldby is a grandmaster. What sets Dylan apart from other photographers is his willingness to share, well, everything. Need a fog machine? He has one to rent. Need one-to-one assistance with studio lighting? He offers tutorials. Need to know where in Seoul to get images printed? He is your man. Without a doubt, Dylan is the most generous photographer around. He realizes that photography is an art for us all, to be shared and explored together. He understands that he does not own the license to photographic tricks and is therefore willing to teach the knowledge that other photographers horde. ![]() Jessica Berggrun Jessica Marie Berggrun is not a good bowler. Even with the bumpers pulled up on the sides of a lane, I would be surprised to see Jessica do better than a game of fifty in the sport of ten pins. But what Jessica lacks in alley grace she makes up for ten-fold behind her red ringed lenses. Berggrun is quickly proving herself as a artist not to be ignored in the Seoul fashion world. Considering Jessica's taste and keen creative eye, it is hard to believe that she comes from a town in South Carolina known more for monster truck rallies and bad tattoos than high fashion. Despite her southern heritage, Berggrun is currently partnering with MAP Studio, an upscale studio located in Seoul's famous Gangnam district. ![]() Why would I promote these two photographers? Dylan and Jessica are two of the nicest people to share time and work with. But more, they are two photographers whose work ethic, professionalism, and accessibility should be celebrated. From couples shoots to editorial work, fashion spreads to fine art projects, these two names are ready to serve clients in any capacity. Want to learn from these two amazing Seoul-based photographers? Now is your chance. Dylan and Jessica will be jointly presenting Halloween: The Anatomy of a Photoshoot on October 27th, 2013. Contact either Dylan or Jessica to secure your workshop place today or to book the photographers individually for your project. |
