Photographs with SakuraCherry blossoms, or sakura as they are called here in Japan, make everyone happy. It seems that when the little white and pink flowers come out for a couple of weeks, everyone in Asia takes a deep breath. It is nature's way of congratulating all of us for making it through another cold winter. The cherry trees show their true colors for an incredibly short time. However, their yearly show is quite predictable. After living in Asia for over a decade, Manon and Jeff Harrison knew exactly when to book their family portrait session to maximize their chances of getting some pictures under the blossoms. Despite the chill and the drizzle still clutching to April, I was thrilled to get out with the Harrison family and nab a quick set. Thanks to the Harrison family for their great attitude and another great set together. If you want to get a set under the blossoms, you will have to wait until next year. Learn from Manon and Jeff and book your portrait session well in advance. |
